Our service is a door to door service and it can always be customized to your preference.

You will be provided with an English speaking driver and a comfortable car/van. All of our drivers speak English well (although with some mistakes) but most importantly, they are nice, knowledgeable and friendly people. Our drivers are experienced, and they know interesting places and stories. They can provide you with some current and historical information about the Czech people, their lifestyle and other topics you may be interested in.

Our drivers can guide you partially; however, they will not provide the service of a professional guide in terms of a deep knowledge of history and background. This can be accomplished by hiring a local guide during your transport. Most of the Czech castles, chateaus, Concentration camps and glassworks, etc., offer their own guide services.

We know what matters. We know that sometimes your holiday is planned long ahead but sometimes it is not due to your busyness. But still, it is the time you want to enjoy. You can enjoy alone or with a local person helping you getting a real insight into different cultures. Such a local experience as a part of your travelling can make a difference and we honestly believe it is irreplaceable.

You can visit one of the following cities and sights during your private scenic transfer from Prague to Krakow or from Krakow to Prague.

Auschwitz  – Olomouc – Salt Mine

There are other nice places; but, in our experience, the ones mentioned above are the best. If you would like to go somewhere else, just let us know where.

Krakow to Prague – Prague to Krakow: Atractions

Auschwitz

Birkenau Entrance Today On this trip you will be taken to a former Concentration Camp Auschwitz where one of the most terrible chapters of the history took place during WWII.

This is not an entertaining and funny trip but definitely an important one.

You will be overwhelmed not by the beauty of its buildings and interesting history, but you will wonder why such a horror could happen not so long ago.

Many well known people like Viktor Frankl or Elie Wiesel wrote about their experiences in Auschwitz and it soon became a dominant symbol of the Holocaust. Not long after the war it was turned into the Auschwitz State Museum and it serves as a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust and Nazism and as a harsh reminder of modern European history.

Auschwitz is made of two parts. Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II – Birkenau which served as the major place of the Nazi´s Final Solution to the Jewish Question. From 1942 to 1944 almost 1,3 million people were sent to the camp and 1,1 million were killed in gas chambers with the pesticide Zyclon B. Most of them were Jews.

or Olomouc

Olomouc is the sixth largest city in the Czech Republic while historically it used to be the capital city of Moravia, the eastern part of the country.

Very rich history of the city attracts many Czechs to visit the town but surprisingly the town is not very well known yet by foreign visitors. Surprisingly, as Olomouc´s heritage reservation is proudly and rightly regarded as the second most important in Bohemia, beaten by Prague only.

Come to see a famous UNESCO sight , Holy Trinity Column, a baroque masterpiece to be found in the middle of the town. A local Old Town Square is the second biggest square of its kind only after its Prague´s sibling. You cannot help to notice how similiar they are. Full of pastel colors built in baroque style with Gothic churches standing by.

Do let yourself to visit one of the most overlooked historical towns in Europe.

or Salt Mine Wielicka

The Salt Mine in Wielicka near Krakow can be another interesting place to stop and see. Starting as deep as in 13th century it went on producing table salt until  2007. You would admire amazing salt chambers with dozens of statues displayed. Naturally, all carved out of salt my the miners.

To enter you can go only with a local guide and the main route has been visited by millions tourists searching for uniqueness and adventure. You will be explained all you want to know about the history of mining, natural powers ruling the underground and centuries of hard work of miners.

There are twenty chambers to visit. The most splendid one  – the Chapel of St. King will take your breath away.

Widing corridors almost 1,5 miles long with 350 steps to be descended to reach the bottom of the underground. No wonder it has been visited by many! Are you worried? You don´t have to be as a real miner´s elevator takes you back up again.

Testimonials

Totally professional, beautifully customized

A knowledgeable, English speaking driver picked us up from our hotel in Krakow and drove us to Prague, pointing out places of interest on the way. In Prague, a tour guide joined our group and showed us the important sites and museums for half a day. The next day, the same guide with a different driver, for half a day, showed us many of the important sites and attractions we had missed the previous day. Altogether a wonderful experience!
